I have always wanted to photograph a wedding at The Granary Estates so when Jenny and James booked me for their day I was very excited!
There are always some couples who surprise us how calm and relaxed they are on their big day and these two were definitely one of them. The whole day was super chilled and everyone was having such a good time.
Jenny and her bridesmaids did their own makeup at the cottage opposite the barn and the very talented Lucy did their hair. The boys and the guests were waiting for them in the barn. It was all beautifully set up with candles, fairylights and confetti petals at the back of the chairs. Their ceremony was so heartwarming, they written their own vows which were just the sweetest thing!
While the guests were enjoying drinks and canapes, we took Jenny and James outside for a few photos. It was freezing cold and windy but they were such troopers and did everything was needed to get good shots. As we walked around the estates, we even found some pretty yellow flowers.
Their wedding breakfast was so tasty and they also had giant bowls on sweets on each table! And let’s not forget about their stunning cake π
After eating all this – well, the sweets were topped up regularly so they never ran out – there was one thing left: to party…
