Cambridgeshire countryside wedding

We all have to love a true Cambridgeshire countryside wedding brought together by local suppliers! Tasha and Jamie’s wedding was all about family and friends and this included their choices of wedding suppliers too. How amazing is that!

Church wedding

Tasha and her bridesmaids got ready at her Dad’s house in St.Ives. The morning was very chilled and very organised (like everything with Tasha). They all got ready very early, Tasha was certainly not a bride who was going to be late! In fact we had to hold her back not to get to the church too early 🙂

The church ceremony was just amazing, very relaxed and personal to them. The vicar was their friend too and she even served them gin&tonic during the ceremony! Who does not want a vicar like her!

Countryside wedding venue

I can’t think of a better way to arrive to your reception venue than…. a BOAT! The owner of their venue, The Three Jolly Butchers was their childhood friend and he helped to arrange this amazing little boat trip.
All the guests were enjoying drinks on the riverside, waiting for them to arrive 🙂
Once everyone was ready to head to the marquee, we took Tasha and Jamie for a quick photos before the speeches.

We had some great, very funny speeches then a lovely buffet. The whole afternoon was very relaxed, guests chatting and relaxing.

Just before sunset we took Tasha and Jamie out again for a little walk. The venue has the most amazing meadows and beautiful riverside. We were so lucky to have one of the most stunning sunsets, had to make the most of it!

In the evening a little ice cream van turned up, this was something that Tasha was looking forward to all day, she even served the guest ice cream herself 🙂

Once the sun went down, everyone headed to the dancefloor and the most amazing macarena party started!
