Intimate wedding in Norfolk
I can’t tell how lucky I feel that Nicole and Ajay asked me to photograph their Norfolk intimate wedding. In fact it was a little more complicated than usual 🙂 They planned their wedding for a few days later but then lockdown came… and they acted very fast. They brought their wedding forward and managed to arrange everything in a matter of couple of days!
We had a video call on Sunday, talked about their awesome plans and then… all happened on Tuesday!
It’s not about the numbers
Nicole and Ajay made the day about what it really is about – their marriage. They both got ready at the same house along with their closest family members. There was champagne, gifts, excitement, laughter, all what you would like to see and feel on your big day.
Nicole travelled in a stunning vintage car with her dad to the church. The ceremony was beautiful and everyone was full of emotions. Then we had the most incredible sunshine in the church gardens! I could not quite believe this was in November.
After confetti and a few group photos we headed back to the house. We took some photos of Nicole and Ajay when we got back as everyone else got stuck in traffic so we had plenty of time.
Just after sunset they both got changed into Indian outfits and had an amazing smoke bomb entry to the house for wedding breakfast. They prepared the meal together which was lovely and added some more family time to the day.
They had two speeches after the meal – Nicole’s dad and Ajay, both made everyone really emotional.
The whole day was absolutely heartwarming and everything a wedding day should be. Don’t be afraid to go ahead with your wedding even if the numbers of guests has to be very low, you can make your day incredibly magical and focusing on the most important thing. Love.
Thank you so much Nicole, Ajay and your families for letting me be part of your day, it was a truly unforgettable experience.
