Soraya and Sam booked us last year for their wedding at The Missing Sock. This venue is such a hidden gem near Cambridge. I don't think I have ever seen so much colour and character in one place! It was just perfectly suited for the Brazilian Wedfest they planned.

On the day

Soraya is the most relaxed bride I have ever met in my life. A few things went wrong in the morning of the wedding but she was very calm and enjoyed every minute of the day!

Her whole family came over from Brazil to celebrate. Her dresses ware fully handmade with unique gold detailing. Yes, she had two dresses! A long one for the day and a short version for the party. Also she had heels for the day then sparkly trainers for the evening. How awesome is that :)

Sam did not want to be left out so Soraya's mum made him a copy of his military suit fully covered with sequins. I am in full awe of how talented she is!

Once she got ready in a house in Cambridge her parents rented then travelled to the venue in a good friend's blue Fiat 500.

In the meantime Pal met Sam and the guest at The Missing Sock, they were already having some drinks and a good time.

The ceremony area was so quirky and had a festival feel, they had parasols, flower garlands, bright coloured chairs and benches...

Sam had a few tears in his eyes when Soraya's dad walked her down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning. Their friend conducted their blessing and it was followed by confetti, more drinks, popcorn and candy floss!

After taking the group photos (it was fairly hard to get people away from all the fun). We took Soraya and Sam for some photos. The venue is very versatile, full of amazingly quirky spots and also some nice, natural backdrops too.

Cake and party time

Shortly after their first dance they cut the cake. But wow, in what way!

With a proper military knife and followed by a full on dance routine behind the cake table! I was not sure how they are going to top this but then Sam performed a song live! It was absolutely epic!

There was sparklers, sunglasses, fans, confetti canons and crazy partying all night.
